Smaller Tasks

If a bigger position is too much responsibility or too time consuming for you, we are also always looking for helpers who support us small-time, on call or only during bigger events. Here are some other ways you can help.

Kassenprüfer/in

We need two residents who check all our cash flow for irregularities to make sure our money is well invested in our dormitory-life. It is a small task but one of utmost importance for the transparency and legitimancy of the self-administration. These persons are usually elected for a year at the general assembly and need to do a cash audit every three months. The workload is around two or three hours for the whole year and both German and English skills are needed to be able to comprehend the accounting records.

Supporting

Every position needs people supporting them and alleviating the workload. If the boat keeper or workshop referee has no time to open the room for residents, they need people who may jump in. Else there will be many times, residents are not able to use the room when they want to. Game or bar nights need a lot of work ahead, during and after events, which would not be able to be shouldered by the clubroom-referee alone and the evenings have to be cancelled. Bigger events need people who prepare the location, barbequeing food, playing music or organizing DJs and many more things. Whatever you are good at and whatever you want to do and support, we will find the right place for you to get engaged in the dormitory social life!
